5 Wellness Tips for Your Zodiac Sign During Pisces Season

I’ve been hearing the phrase “I’m so tired” a lot lately. From myself and others. But if we take a moment to reflect on the events of last year, it makes so much sense that we are tired! 2020 was filled with intense energy, and that energy was intensified by Mars in Aries. Mars usually stays in a sign for a few weeks, but in 2020 Mars was in the warrior, high-energy of Aries for 6 months!! Mars in Aries brought wildfires, civil unrest, violence, quarantines, infighting, and so much more. No wonder we are tired!

Now that it's Pisces Season, it's important that we are gentle with ourselves. Compassion for ourselves and others is a must. The reality is that we are still in a global pandemic, we JUST changed presidents, our economy is sketch, and we’ve been stuck in the house for over a year, navigating virtual school and working from home. Slowing down is just what the cosmic doctor ordered.

On Jan. 6th, Mars moved into steady and methodical Taurus, forcing us to pump the brakes and get really intentional about our next moves. There’s also a ton of visionary Aquarius happening now, that is making us much more contemplative about our futures. We JUST ended Mercury retrograde in Aquarius- which began on January 30th- Feb. 20th… and many of us had some hard lessons to face and beliefs and ideas to release. Tomorrow’s Full Moon in organizational Virgo gives us permission to take the lessons we learned and the new perspectives we’ve gained to finally release anything and everything that no longer serves us.

Pisces Season (which lasts until March 20th) allows us to really sink into this new identity we are creating. Get use to it, feel it out, address what is coming up and coming out. This is why we feel a desperate need to slow down! It’s what I call a “spiritual shoulder tap.” Your spirit is like, “Hey, so I know there’s been a lot going on, and I’m sorry. But if we work together, I promise it will be a little easier on you. Just take a moment and feel me out, mkay?”

So how do we take care of ourselves during this big cosmic shift? Here are 5 wellness tips for your zodiac sign:

Earth Signs | Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo

1. Move your body (break a sweat, especially when you're feeling stressed!)

2. Boundaries (practice saying no!)

3. Reschedule non-essentials (it can wait!)

4. Pamper your body (massage, hair did, nails did, everything did!)

5. Reduce your load (ask yourself; am I really responsible for getting this done?)

Fire Signs | Aries, Leo, Sagittarius

1. Add gentle movement to your routine (like yoga and/or walking)

2. Find some healthy drama (fun banter with friends, like arguing about a tv show!)

3. Add some flair to your social media (do a photoshoot with a new look!)

4. Get some sunshine (it will energize you)

5. Pick up a new hobby (something creative would be awesome)

Air Signs | Aquarius, Gemini, Libra

1. Calm your thoughts (add meditation and affirmations to your routine)

2. Get out of your head & into your body (moving your body will ground you)

3. Book an appointment with a therapist (talking it out might be best)

4. Lots of conversations with good friends (sharing is healing)

5. Journal or record your thoughts (don't let your thoughts just swirl around in your head)

Water Signs | Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

1. Cry (crying is so healing and releases built up emotions)

2. Take baths and long showers (water is healing too)

3. Escape reality for a moment (books, movies, weed)

5. Do something nice for someone else (to pull yourself out of your emotions)
